
Prawn and Asparagus Pan Fried
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 lbs (700g) medium raw sprawn, peeled and deveine
- 1 1/4 lbs (700g) asparagus (1 small bunch) rinsed and trimmed
- 1 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoons onion powder
- Salt and fresh cracked pepper, pinch
- 0.50 cup (60ml) vegetable stock
- Crushed chili pepper flakes, optional
- Juice of 1/4 lemon
- Fresh chopped parsley or cilantro, for garnish
Method
- In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle oil and add butter.
- Once butter is melted, add asparagus, then prawn.
- Season generously with salt and pepper, spice and dried herbs, and cook, stirring occasionally, until asparagus is fork-tender
- Stir in garlic for 1 minute or so until fragrant
- Sprinkle garnish with parsley, lemon slices, and red crushed chili pepper over everything and serve immediately.
