Just One More: Helping Leeds Eat More Veg Every Day
Just One More is a local campaign to encourage people across Leeds to eat Just One More portion of vegetables every day as a snack or in their meals.
Our campaign will start with an engagement week from Monday 19th to Friday 21st May, and will run until Friday 27th June. All resources to support the campaign can be downloaded below.

Did you know
- Just over 1 in 3 adults are consuming their 5 or more fruit and vegetables per day
- In Leeds, 2 in 3 children and/or young people are consuming at least 3 portions of fruit and vegetables per day
- Many people find eating fruit a lot easier than eating vegetables
- Salad, tomatoes, carrots and peas remain the most commonly eaten vegetables in the UK
- The most common way that vegetables are consumed is by adding to home cooked main meals such as stir fries, curries and casseroles
- Increasing vegetable intake can have a significant impact on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions
